Welcome

Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) fosters and supports opportunities for leadership and community engagement for all UBalt students.

For more than 100 years, the Society has recognized the great works of students on college campuses nationwide in the areas of scholarship, leadership, and community service. Each semester, UBalt Circle recognizes select students for their outstanding service to the UBalt campus and community. ODK is an active and participatory organization that fosters student involvement in leadership and community engagement endeavors.

We hope you'll consider joining the UBalt Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa.

Applications for Fall 2024  will open on August 26.
The deadline to apply is September 27 at 11:59 pm.

Feel free to apply even if you didn't receive an invitation!

Membership Benefits

Omicron Delta Kappa offers scholarship opportunities, member discounts, advanced leadership skills, awards, and more.

Connections

Welcome Week Meet & Greets, leadership panels, Pack the Pantry Student Org Food & Supply Drive Competition, book clubs, and more!

ODK is a student-led organization, which means we need your input on the events and activities you want to see on UBalt's campus.

Scholarships & Awards

ODK members have the opportunity to apply for more than $40,000 in scholarships for graduate and professional study. Want to take a year or two off after the undergraduate year? No problem. ODK members have five years of eligibility after they graduate to apply for scholarships.

The National Leader of the Year program recognizes six members, one for each of the five phases of campus life and one of whom is selected as the Gen. Russell E. Dougherty National Leader of the Year. All six recipients receive a monetary award, recognition at the annual National Leadership Conference, and national recognition through social media.

At the Circle level, the UBalt Circle hosts the Pillar Awards every semester - ODK members are nominated by their peers, and one member in each of ODK's five phases of leadership receives this award.

Connections

The best benefit is building a network full of other identified leaders of your peers. As a member of Omicron Delta Kapa, you will be among a select group of leaders from your institution. You have the opportunity to expand those leadership skills through the National Leadership Conference and the growing number of leadership development programs offered by ODK.
