Spring 2026 De-Stress Fest

De-Stress Fest is a traditional week of activities held each semester the week before finals. It's a chance to unwind, reflect, and prepare as the end of the semester approaches. De-Stress Fest is planned and implemented by the Traditions Committee, which consists of a variety of campus departments and student organizations. Community Committee

The SGA Community Committee meeting is a collaborative space for students to engage in conversations around community involvement, civic engagement, and partnerships between the University of Baltimore and the surrounding Baltimore communities. As Chair, the committee focuses on identifying opportunities for service, advocacy, and impact-driven initiatives that align with student needs and community priorities. Meetings will include planning upcoming projects, discussing community concerns, building relationships with local organizations, and creating strategies to strengthen UB’s role as a responsible and engaged anchor institution. All students interested in community engagement, social impact, and creating meaningful change on and off campus are encouraged to attend.

Movie Screening: Dead Poets Society

Join the CWC for a free screening of Dead Poets Society starring Robin Williams, Ethan Hawke, and Neil Perry! Dead Poets Society is about the story of John Keating, a new English professor at a strict boys only school. Subjects to strict expectations and forced through paths they have no interest in, Mr. Keating provides them a new outlet by introducing to them the beauty of creative writing. This critically acclaimed movie explores topics such as individualism and freedom of expression; and how their suppression can have devastating results. Refreshments will be provided!

Join Helen P. Denit, the Office of Diversity and International Services, the International Student Association, PTKAA*, and the SGA for the end of the semester party that you do not want to miss! Held during destress fest in the Game Room, stop by to get your t-shirt signed by your fellow Bees, grab some food, and make those final memories that will last a lifetime. *Graduating PTKAA members will receive their cords and pin.
