Community Committee

The SGA Community Committee meeting is a collaborative space for students to engage in conversations around community involvement, civic engagement, and partnerships between the University of Baltimore and the surrounding Baltimore communities. As Chair, the committee focuses on identifying opportunities for service, advocacy, and impact-driven initiatives that align with student needs and community priorities. Meetings will include planning upcoming projects, discussing community concerns, building relationships with local organizations, and creating strategies to strengthen UB’s role as a responsible and engaged anchor institution. All students interested in community engagement, social impact, and creating meaningful change on and off campus are encouraged to attend.

SGA Finance Committee Meeting

First Finance Committee Meeting of the year! This is a monthly meeting hosted by the Student Government Association Finance Committee (SGAFC) to ensure that student organizations are operating smoothly and staying on track financially. All student organizations are encouraged to attend, especially those with questions, concerns, or updates related to budgeting and funding. The Finance Committee meetings provide a platform for student organizations to discuss their funding needs and requests. During these meetings, organizations present their financial plans and proposals and collaborate with the committee to ensure responsible and effective use of funds to support their activities and initiatives.
