About Us

The purpose of the Philosophy Club organization is outlined below: To foster and support the ethical code that the Hoffberger Center for Professional Ethics was created to promote. To discuss ethical issues in the community, and, if determined by the body of this organization, to plan and act upon these issues. To aid, wherever possible, in the affairs of the Hoffberger Center for Professional Ethics and the UB Department of Philosophy, Society, and Applied Ethics. To conduct outreach to the student body and the community at large, and to provide a range of experts a platform to reach interested minds. To enrich the student body by providing a forum for students to engage with new ideas and to subject their own to the rigors of constructive criticism.
