The AIGA University of Baltimore Student Group is an organization of students who are interested in pursuing a career in any field of design. The goal of our group is to get students involved in the local design community, create a professional network of their own, and to help them build leadership skills that will be valuable as they move into the professional world. Our group will host workshops, field trips, and events focused in all aspects of design. Our group also partners with other local chapters for events and contests.

The Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) serves as an academic, social and political resource for Asian Pacific American (APA) students in the Law School. The Chapter offers an APA perspective on the law school experience and the legal profession. APALSA encourages participation, leadership, and public service among APA law students at the University of Baltimore (UB). It maintains communication with the National Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (NAPALSA), the Korean Bar Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association (KBC), Shandong University in China (UB's sister law school), and other APA organizations. Additionally, APALSA assists in recruiting APA students to the University of Baltimore, assists immigrants in understanding and working through the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) process, and brings awareness to APA issues through its bulletin board, website, guest speakers, and other activities.

We are the UB Club Basketball team providing opportunities to participate in competitive basketball beyond an intramural level. We compete in weekend travel tournaments 3 to 4 times a semester representing UB at many larger universities including NC State, UNC, Boston University, Ohio State, JMU and many more. Basketball Club is very competitive and previous experience is highly encouraged, preferably high school varsity and above but everyone is welcomed! BLSA Background:

The University of Baltimore School of Law's Black Law Students Association is a local chapter of the National Black Law Students Association. The National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA) is a 501(c)(3) corporation and the nation's largest student-run organization representing nearly 6,000 minority law students from over 200 chapters and affiliates throughout the United States and six other countries.
Since 1978, the University of Baltimore chapter has served the educational, professional, political, and social needs and goals of black and minority law students.

BLSA has always personified excellence. In order uphold and advance this tradition, we must exemplify excellence and serve as leaders in all that we do.
