About the Public Interest Fellowship (PIF):
Each year, Maryland Legal Aid offers a Public Interest Fellowship to a 2D or 3E UB Law student. The recipient of the Public Interest Fellowship will receive a paid ($5,250) law clerk position for the 2020 summer. After a successful summer, the recipient may receive an offer for post-graduate employment. Additionally, the fellowship provides a waiver of one year of tuition and fees for committing to work at Legal Aid for at least three years. In addition, there are a variety of additional fellowships available to law students interested in working at Legal Aid.
