About Us

It shall be the purpose of The Student Veterans of America at The University of Baltimore to promote the University of Baltimore as a veteran-friendly institution of higher learning. The organization shall provide an environment of mentorship to incoming and existing veteran students; create programs, social activities, and events that will enrich the entire campus and community at The University of Baltimore. In addition, the organization will support the highest traditions of military service and provide student leadership and fellowship to all; such as those bonds that existed while in the military. This social organization will further propagate the mission of the University by exercising the virtues instilled in defense of our great nation and within the microcosm of the University and Baltimore in general. In addition, the organization will provide community service missions. The organization will also assist its veteran student members with career placement.
