The Office of Diversity and International Services is so excited to bring 20 UBalt students to the Baltimore Museum of Art to see Amy Sherald's exhibit, American Sublime. Sherald, a graduate of MICA, transformed the portrait world and brought a revived sense of belonging to art. Renowned for being the first African American to win the grand prize in the National Portrait Gallery’s Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition and creating the official portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama for the National Portrait Gallery’s collection, Sherald is a hometown hero. We will meet in the Student Center lobby and walk to Penn Station to take the Purple route Charm City Circulator to the BMA.

NOTE: This trip is for students only. Thank you for your understanding.
