Guest Lecturer : Joe Bozenko

Joe Bozenko is a Senior Research Chemist at the DEA’s Special Testing and Research Laboratory and a Scientific Advisor for the Special Operations Division. With 23 years at the DEA, he specializes in synthetic drug manufacturing investigations globally, having managed some of the largest meth labs worldwide. Bozenko leads handheld instrumentation testing and safety-related science initiatives for officers and helped establish the DEA’s High-Hazard Level 'A' Clandestine Laboratory Response Training Program. He analyzes selected samples of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and MDMA for intelligence purposes. Bozenko holds a B.A. and M.S. in Chemistry and is an Adjunct Professor at Shepherd University.
