HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!
To many veterans, including myself, Veterans Day is the only day on the calendar you do not have to pay for your meal. Prior to the Pandemic, this process could take all day waiting for the next available table, lol. Fortunately, there are still some restaurants participating for Veterans Day. Below is the link to all participating restaurants in Baltimore:

Veterans Day is NOT the Same as Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is a time to remember those who gave their lives for our country, particularly in battle or from wounds they suffered in battle. Veterans Day honors all of those who have served the country in war or peace, dead or alive, but mainly to thank living veterans for their sacrifices.

VETERANS DAY FUN FACT:
World War I – known at the time as “The Great War” between the Allied nations and Germany, fighting ceased on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. For that reason, November 11, 1918, is generally regarded as the end of “the war to end all wars.”
