Join the Office of Diversity and International Services for a hands-on activity as part of Hispanic Heritage Month: Crafting Guatemalan Worry Dolls. Rooted in Mayan heritage, worry dolls were traditionally given to children to help ease fears, calm nightmares, and bring comfort at bedtime. These small symbols of care and resilience continue to carry cultural meaning today.
