Last month, we lost one of our brightest students and close friend David Joao Ferraz. David was a winner of the REED Fellowship Pitch for a Million competition and was a leader in the REEDA organization. David was an incredible human being, one who brought a new meaning to the term "entrepreneur". David was an activist in the community and was best known for being extremely driven, never turning down an opportunity, always kind to others, and for making us all smile every day. He will always be remembered by those that he impacted, especially by us all here at UB as well as the many people he helped in the Baltimore community.
David, we remember.
