About this event
Queer Quality Dating (QQD) is Baltimore's original speed dating series to match folx of all LGBTQIA2S+ sexualities and gender expressions in the Baltimore who value community. Once you buy your ticket, complete Maria's match-making questionnaire as part of this dating process. Trust your gut. Put yourself out there! Get cute and social justice-y over cruelty-free food. Below are the ground rules to participate in QQD (please read carefully):
1) Any racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, or ableist behavior will not be tolerated and person will be banned.
2) No refunds y'all. You may request to transfer your ticket with a 7-day notice with a charge of $10 to re-match you.
3) All daters complete a questionnaire designed by Maria ASAP. Check your spam folder! You will receive email reminders.
4) Please do not come if you are sick or test positive for COVID-19. You will receive your matches over email to connect and set up dates once you're healthy-- or on your own time.
5) If your date requests that you wear a mask, please consider doing so. Otherwise, you may lose out on connecting with someone very special.
6) You will receive a list of at least two suggested matches that fit your criteria the best in your email.
7) Daters are respectful and open-minded. If you're not feeling someone, maybe say "I'm feeling friendship" directly to them so they don't expect to date you.
8) Arrive 15-30 minutes early for sign in and familiarize yourself with your matches. Once dating rounds start, listen to instructions. Based on Maria's pre-matches, find your seat based on a color-coordinated chart. If you're late, you will miss a potential match. Who wants that?!
9) Want to connect with someone? Share your number with them! Go on a date with your match! Have fun! Nervous? Hey, ask Maria to help you. ;)
10) It is not guaranteed that any dates will occur but hope you do go out! For friend matches, you can request your email to be shared! Come prepared to make a lot of cool new sexy friends! Ask Maria for advice along the way. ;)
