Join us for a ZOOM conversation about whether open discussion is necessary for Conflict Resolution & Human Security. Stay for the whole event or come and go as you please!

Free speech, much like conflict, can be essential for innovation, development, and improvement. However, also like conflict, can be divisive and painful.

Please join the CNCM & GAHS Student's Associations to discuss free speech's impact, benefits, and drawbacks on individuals, groups, and societies.

The discussion will cover free speech in the U.S. and whether this relates to and interacts with conflict management and resolution, as well as human security and global affairs. The conversation will be open for group discussion.

Different outlooks are desired and encouraged. If you are versed or opinionated in international affairs, please bring your perspectives to the conversation!

Please feel free to join the conversation regardless of the extent of knowledge or opinions you may have about the topic.
