Each year, the University of Baltimore’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) works with students, volunteers, investors and entrepreneurs to host a venture pitch competition, culminating in a final live event.

Scheduled for May 6, 2026 at 5:30pm at the Wright Theatre, Student Center, this annual event features the following 6 finalists, each aiming to win their share of the nearly $30,000 in seed money and professional services to launch or grow their businesses:
• Erica Attoe - Steady Hands
• John Butler - Totem Jou Publishing
• K'La Hamilton - K'Raw Juice
• Terjahna Richards - Pharmynx
• Matthew Morris - Blue Dream
• Hope Ford-Jones - Keepin Up with the Jones

At the live final, you will hear all of them pitch their ideas, what inspired them and how some of them want to change not only Baltimore - but possibly go further and change the world.
