This training teaches a skill that deepens The way trainees listen. It's based on non-judgment and sharpens a person's ability to notice how their opinions, advice, and judgments appear and cause things to escalate. This way of listening honors diversity and helps people work on understanding, even when conversations are difficult. The listener focuses on hearing feelings, values, and topics expressed, which de-escalates situations and helps people feel heard and understood. This training needs to happen before you take "Inclusive Reflecting."

This event is sponsored by the Baltimore Community Mediation Center (BCMC). To make conflict management skills accessible to Baltimore city residents and the greater online community BCMC is hosting an online conflict management training workshop series at a reduced cost!

People who attend the trainings will learn more about their perceptions of conflict, what to do when conflict happens, how to listen more purposefully during conflict, how to ask open-ended questions to facilitate understanding, and the power of emotional intelligence.

This is a means to access skills to help you navigate and mitigate conflict in your life and relationships. Please take advantage of this opportunity!
